Michael Strong new

Michael has been an active member of the Lubbock community since his time as a student at Texas Tech. Before graduating in 2003 with a degree in Management Information Systems, Michael worked his way through school as a Senior Network Engineer at a Lubbock and Dallas based internet service provider. In 2002, along with co-founder Jeromy Mallory, he created the company that would become Blue Layer. When he’s not working to provide customers with the best technology solutions, Michael is active in the Texas Tech Athletics Department where he has been the team sports photographer for over 15 years. During his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife Jessica and their three children. Together they support several charities including March of Dimes, the NICU unit at Covenant Hospital and the American Cancer Society.
